(271/278) 1818 - backslash not supported in modes <mode><props> ... lineComment

I wanted to create a mode for flash forth, which uses the backslash character as comment line marker. However,

<MODE>
<PROPS>
...
<PROPERTY NAME="lineComment" VALUE="\" />
...

doesn't seems to work, neither does "\\" or even "\\\". The parser seems to ignore the backslash as both "\|" and "\\|" will detect the | as line comment marker.

2015-05-01 11:13:14.439000 hapfel	Hmpf, the parser here's worse than O_Os "autocomplete"-function. So, lets try again: VALUE="<single_backslash>" doesn't work. Neither does a double or triple backslash. A pipe, however, is detected right behind a single and a double backslash which makes me believe that the parser simply skips backslashes.
